Architectural Planning

Senior Architectural Planner

You will own planning packages end to end — taking a brief that is still an argument and turning it into a layout that resolves circulation, orientation, and programme.

This is a planning role, not a site role. Our work finishes when the plan is right, which means the thinking has to be right long before anyone breaks ground.

Responsibilities

  • Lead building layout and space planning for residential and commercial projects
  • Interrogate briefs and turn ambiguity into a defensible plan
  • Produce drawing sets that other teams can build from without guessing
  • Present and defend planning decisions to clients and consultants
  • Mentor junior planners through review and critique

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or Planning
  • 5–8 years in architectural or layout planning
  • Fluency in AutoCAD and Revit; SketchUp for early studies
  • A portfolio showing plans you authored, not just rendered
  • Working knowledge of local development control regulations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with master planning at neighbourhood scale
  • Familiarity with daylight or shade modelling tools
