Senior Architectural Planner
Lead building layout and space planning packages from first sketch to the drawing set a client can build from.
We are a planning and design consultancy, which means our work is thinking made visible. If you would rather resolve a problem on paper than paper over it later, you will recognise the place.
We are deliberately small. That means less process, more judgement, and nowhere to hide a decision you cannot explain. It suits people who like being trusted and are comfortable being questioned.
We are judged on the quality of our thinking, not the volume of our output. A drawing leaves the studio when it is right.
Our advice is only worth paying for if it is honest. The best outcome is sometimes telling a client not to buy the site.
You will own packages, present your own work, and defend your own decisions. Nobody here is a pair of hands.
An annual allowance for courses, software, and conferences — used, not advertised.
Deep work needs quiet. Choose the hours where you actually think best.
Everyone, including interns, works on real packages for real clients.
Structured review and critique from senior planners, not just deadlines.
Generous leave that people are expected to take, including a studio break.
The licences and hardware to do the work properly, replaced when they age.
We are not accepting applications at the moment. These are the roles we hire for — if one sounds like you, write to us and we will keep you in mind when it opens.
Lead building layout and space planning packages from first sketch to the drawing set a client can build from.
Work at the scale of the whole site — density, access, phasing, and the decisions that are ruinous to revisit later.
Produce precise layout and detail drawings where a millimetre of ambiguity becomes someone else's problem.
Tell clients what a site can actually carry — early enough that the answer still changes the outcome.
A six-month internship on live planning work — drawing, studying options, and sitting in on the reviews.
We would rather hear from the right person early than fill a role quickly. If none of these fit, write to us anyway.
