Three generations, one plot, and a requirement that nobody has to walk through anybody else's home. The plan gives each household its own entrance and its own quiet, while keeping one shared kitchen and courtyard at the centre.

Most of the work was in the section rather than the plan — half-levels that let the house step with the family's privacy needs without ever feeling like three houses stacked.
